The villa is located just 6.2 miles (10 km) from the sea and it's a 20-minute drive to the conveniently located Marche Airport at Ancona. A 5-minute car ride brings you to the medieval walled city of San Marcello with about 2000 residents, where you can do your basic shopping.
At Casa di Seta privacy is guaranteed due to its location and electronic gate. The 37000 sq.ft. (3500 m2) garden has an automated irrigation system and is planted with fruit trees, cypresses and rose bushes. There also is an area with over 450 olive trees.
In 2007 this former silk factory has been transformed into a fantastic holiday home, with 5920 sq.ft. (550 m2) living space across 3 floors. The rooms are spaced along the axis of the house for optimal light conditions in every room. The infinity pool is a prime example of design blending in with its surroundings, creating a pleasing aesthetic.
The complex also has a detached guesthouse with a living room / kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

Welcome to The Marches The Marches is a relatively unknown and untouched region between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea in central Italy. The surrounding landscape is characterized by rolling hills covered in a patchwork of vineyards, olive groves, cornfields, sun flowers and grassland.
The medieval walled city of San Marcello is home to 2000 people and is about 5 minutes by car. It's only 20 minutes to the beach (Senigallia) and an hour's drive to San Marino, Ascoli Piceno and beautiful Umbria.
In the area around the villa there are numerous small medieval villages with lovely restaurants, coffeehouses and wine bars. Casa di Seta and it surroundings have everything for a successful and relaxing holiday!

18 or 9 holes of golf at Le Marche's only 18-hole golf course

Just half an hour from Casa di Seta you will find the only 18-hole golf course in Le Marche: The Conero Golf Club. This magnificent course in Sirolo (60 acres) has an 18 hole par 71 championship course and 5-hole par 17 executive course. The club also organizes lessons for beginners. The necessary equipment can be rented here.

From the Netherlands it's a 14-hour drive to San Marcello (without breaks). Prefer flying? The cheapest option is flying from Düsseldorf to Marche Airport at Ancona (making for 4 hours of travel time).

Flying from Düsseldorf (Airport Weeze) to Ancona (Marche Airport) is the easiest and cheapest option.
You can also fly to Bologna (Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport). Ryanair offers flights to Bologna from Eindhoven Airport. Transavia and KLM offer flights to Bologna from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
From Bologna it's a 2½-hour drive to Casa Di Seta.
